This policy explains what personal data Doors collects, why we use it and what your rights are, including under Brazil's General Data Protection Law (LGPD).
01Who we are
Doors is a network connecting startups and investors. For privacy questions or to exercise your rights, write to contact@doorss.app.
02Data we collect
Access request: name, e-mail, profile type (startup or investor), language and the message you write in the website form.
Account: name, e-mail, password (stored encrypted by our authentication provider) and the profile details you fill in, such as organization, sectors, stages, location and ticket or raise range.
Platform use: connections, messages exchanged with other members, saved items and notifications.
Technical data: session identifiers stored in your browser to keep you signed in, and aggregated, anonymous traffic metrics.
03How we use it
To review access requests and send invites; create and maintain your account; show your profile to other members and suggest relevant connections; deliver messages and notifications; and keep the platform secure.
We rely on performing our contract with you, our legitimate interest in running and protecting the network and, where applicable, your consent.
04Who we share it with
Your profile is visible to other approved Doors members once you finish signing up. Messages are only visible to the people in the conversation.
We use providers that process data on our behalf, such as our database and authentication infrastructure (Supabase) and website hosting (Vercel). We do not sell personal data.
05How long we keep it
We keep account data while your account is active. Declined access requests are kept for up to 12 months to prevent duplicates and then deleted. You can ask for deletion at any time.
06Your rights
You may request confirmation of processing, access, correction, anonymization, portability or deletion of your data, information about sharing, and withdrawal of consent. We reply within 15 days.
07Security
Data travels over encrypted connections, and database access is restricted by rules that only let each member see their own data or what other members made visible.
08Changes
We may update this policy. Material changes will be announced by e-mail or in the platform before they take effect.
